Our Process
We make every piece by hand out of our home studio in Northwest Arkansas. Marcus does all of the clay work, throwing each piece on the wheel and adding handles or other functional parts with porcelain as his preferred medium. Adrienna glazes the work, primarily using brushing techniques, before we fire in our electric kiln to either a cone 5 or 6. After cooling, Marcus takes the bottom of each piece through a three step diamond sanding process to ensure the bottom is silky smooth for comfort and the safety of your surfaces.
Caring for Your Pottery
All of our work, with the exception of pieces with Gold Lustre on them as stated in the description, is microwave and dishwasher safe. However, our clay transfers heat more than store bought mugs, so use caution when taking handmade work from the microwave.
